MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah, over the weekend, identified with thousands of children from the seventeen districts of Montserrado County.
President Weah presented several Christmas gifts of all kinds during a surprise Christmas Day Party for the children in Paynesville City.
Briefly speaking to the children, the Liberian Leader said it was his own way of bringing the children together for the festive season.
President Weah said:” As Christmas is a day for sharing and caring, it was important to put smiles on the faces of children.”
At the same time, the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel McGill, on behalf of President Weah, distributed several Christmas gifts to children in Bopolu, Gbarpolu County.
Minister McGill said:” President was not only concerned about children in Montserrado County, but also those in rural Liberia, like Gbarpolu County.”
The Minister of State made the distribution of Christmas gifts to the children alongside officials of the Gbarpolu County.
