Pres. Weah’s song on fight against Coronavirus gains int’l recognition

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The most popular song on Coronavirus released by President George Weah has gained international recognition.

The Liberian Leader’s song,’ Let’s Stand Together to Fight Corona”, will be sub-titled in France and Arabic versions and featured on various platforms, including the BBC and France 24.

Besides, Radio Deutsche Welle has been granted the non-inclusive right to broadcast President Weah’s anti-coronavirus song on that network.

According to a MICAT release over the weekend, the international recognition followed his selection by UNESCO to serve   as its Public Ambassador.

President Weah’s song will be used in the second phase of UNESCO’s # Don’tGoViral Campaign Ambassador.

As Public Ambassador, the Liberian Leader will help mobilize participants to produce messages of solidarity to mitigate the Coronavirus in Africa.
