MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Vice President, Jewel Howard Taylor, has expressed sadness over the death of fallen Montserrado County Representative, Munah Pelham- Youngblood.
Madam Howard-Taylor described the death of the young Liberian female lawmaker as a serious hit to the struggle for gender equality and women empowerment in Liberia.
The Liberian Vice President noted that the late Lawmaker always took a stand on national issues, and would provide analytical insights into issues in defense of her position.
Madam Howard-Taylor said:” The fallen Representative was a strong advocate for women’s empowerment.”
The Vice President’s comments were contained in a release issued in Monrovia Friday, July 10, 2020.
