Gov. opens Book of Condolence for late Public Works Minister

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia has announced the official opening of a Book of Condolence today Monday, November 23, 2020, for fallen Public Works Minister Mobotu Nyenpan at the Ministry, as part of official activities befitting his home-going.

According to the official protocol, top and junior officials of Government led by President George Weah , will grace the signing ceremony beginning with the Liberian Leader.

The Protocol is also quoted as saying the body of the Public Works Minister will be removed from the Saint Moses Funeral Parlors on Wednesday, November 25, and taken to the Capitol to lie in State.

A State Funeral for Minister Nyenpan, the Protocol says, will be held on Thursday, November 26, at the Sacred Heart Cathedral on Broad Street to pay last respect to the fallen Statesman, for his contributions to the Government and People of Liberia.

According to the Official Gazette, the body of the Public Works Minister will be laid to rest at the Brewerville Cemetery.
