MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Criminal Court C Judge, Blamo Dixon, has placed a travel ban on three individuals for allegedly duping a Nigerian national of over two hundred thousand United States Dollars.

It followed an application, filed at the Court by Government lawyers to prevent the three accused individuals from leaving Liberia.

Those affected by the travel ban include, Lebanese businessman, George Haddad, and two Liberians, including Dew Mayson and Patricia Fahnbulleh, indicted by the Grand Jury of Montserrado County.

According to ELBC Judicial Reporter, an alert has been sent to INTERPOL seeking the extradition of Dew Mayson, currently in Nigeria, to compel his prosecution in the Liberia.

Judge Dixon, in his February 19 restriction, instructed all security forces at Liberia’s various points of entry to have them arrested when seen in any of those areas.
