Monrovia, Liberia, March 24, 2021 – The Liberian Government says it is engaging Bea Mountain Company to improve on its corporate social responsibilities.
Due to its constant engagements, Government said the company is currently rehabilitating the road leading to the concession area.
President George Weah told citizens of Gola Konneh and Porkpa Districts in Grand Cape Mount Wednesday, that Government will remain engaged with the company in their interest.
The Liberian Leader also disclosed that Bea Mountain has agreed to replace makeshift homes to modern houses for workers.
President Weah’s assurance to the Gola Konneh and Porkpa District citizens was based upon a complaint of neglect by the people at a Town Hall Meeting.
Meanwhile, the citizens lauded the Government for encouraging the company in their interest.
