British Ambassador says Britain values its relationship with Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-British Ambassador to Liberia says the United Kingdom (UK) takes seriously its relationship with Liberia, which dates back to the 1850s.

Sir Neil Bradley was speaking on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, when he called on the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Bhofal Chambers, in Monrovia.

Ambassador Bradley said:” Liberia has great potential, and Britain stands ready to work with the Country in many areas of economic opportunities.”

He made specific mention of Liberia’s potential in the green energy sector, mining, forestry and fisheries, among others.

For his part, Speaker Chambers lauded the British Envoy for the positive thoughts about Liberia.

Speaker Chambers welcomed Sir. Bradley, and recounted the long diplomatic relationship between Great Britain and Liberia, which dates back to more than one-hundred years.

The Speaker then asked the British Ambassador to do his work diligently, while wishing for Liberia to prosper and succeed in its agenda to reduce poverty, and improve infrastructure development.
