MONROVIA, LIBERIA – A joint International conference on the implementation of the trade agreement between Liberia and Guinea is currently taking place in Monrovia.
Information Minister, Legderhood Rennie said, both Governments are deriving ideas on the development of a rail corridor to transport Guinean mining products using Liberian port infrastructure.
Minister Rennie said the corridor will facilitate the transport of agriculture products, people, as well as goods and services.
He made the disclosure Wednesday, June 9, 221, that the agreement will also enhance economic development and provide job opportunities for the two countries.
The Information Minister noted that the three day conference is aimed at working out the technical details for the acceleration of the implementation of the agreement.
Minister Rennie said top Guinean and Liberian government authorities are forming part of the three-day meeting.
