MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Minister of Health, Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah, says Liberia has recorded no new case of COVID-19 in the past two days.

This is the first time that the Country has recorded zero case, since the third wave of the pandemic.

Dr. Jallah, however, said:” Liberia still has one-hundred-eleven active cases of COVID-19, with twelve at Star Base in Monrovia while the others are spread across the Country.”

The Liberian Health Minister attributed the reduction in the cases to citizens’ willingness to abide by the health protocols.

She also thanked health workers across the Country for their cooperation and effectiveness in the fight against the virus.

Meanwhile, Bong, Bomi, Sinoe, Gbarpolu and Rivercess Counties are on a countdown with no active cases, while the rest of the Country is in response.
