MONROVIA. LIBERIA – Report reaching this Station says one of the Indian workers affected by the explosion at Sethi Fabric Steel Company has died.
He died at the John F. Kennedy Hospital in Sinkor.
The President of the National Union of Hospitalities, Aviation, Communication and Energy Workers, Baryou Wallace told ELBC Thursday, August 19, 2021, that another wounded Liberian worker has been included on the medical trip to Ghana.
Mr. Wallace said Nathaniel Farsu was included on the trip because he was not responding to treatment in Monrovia.
He however said the two Liberian workers, Nathaniel Farsu, Theo Tiaklan and their Indian colleague have already been flown to Ghana to begin treatment.
The National Union of Hospitalities, Aviation, Communication and Energy Workers, is the bargaining Representative of the Sethi Fabric workers.
