MONROVIA, LIBERIA -Residents of Central Monrovia and other surrounding areas are to shortly benefit from the supply of fresh pipe born water for the first time in many years.
It followed the signing of a major agreement between the Liberia Water and Sewer Cooperation and a Chinese Firm for the construction of an express water line.
The project, which is worth US4.8Million,will see the express line constructed from the Fish Market station in Sinkor to Central Monrovia.
The Acting Managing Director of the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation, Mosery Momoh said the express pipe line construction project is funded by the World Bank supported.
The Chinese Panda Construction firm is said to have worked with the LWSC on previous water projects.
