Aggrieved Religious Community in Rivercess County wants Superintendent, deputies fired

by Francis Pelenah Jr,

RIVERCESS COUNTY, LIBERIA-Some religious leaders in Rivercess County have expressed disappointment in the local administration of the County.

The Rivercess Christian Fellowship has gone a step further, by calling for the dismissal of the County Superintendent Bismarck Karbiah and his two deputies.

The head of the group, Pastor Matthew Bryant, accused the local leaders of mismanaging the Christmas Package of two-hundred bags of rice, and cash donated by President George Weah.

Meanwhile, Superintendent Karbiah and deputies have admitted giving portion of the package to commissioners for distribution, but described as myth allegation that the Christian Community did not receive their share of the package.

For his part, Fiscal Superintendent Elijah Kassaynee has apologized and called for a roundtable discussion with the Rivercess Christian Fellowship.
