Pres. Weah urges Liberians to work harder toward National Unity and Reconciliation

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah is urging Liberians to redouble their efforts towards national unity and reconciliation.

President Weah described national unity and reconciliation as cornerstone for all national development efforts.

The President believes a strong bond among citizens will help combat all forms of discrimination and exclusion.

The Liberian Leader was speaking on Friday, January 7, 2022, at the kickoff event of Liberia’s Bicentennial celebration on the Providence Island in Monrovia.

President Weah expressed the hope that the Bicentennial commemoration will bring Liberians closer together, and strengthen national unity, amid diversity.

The Bicentennial of the Liberian State is being celebrated under the theme,” Liberia, The Land of Return”.
