MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Members of the Senate have outlined development engagements, and identified challenges confronting people in their various constituencies.
The Senators on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, named the lack of good road network, basic health facilities and improved education system as key issues facing their people.
Senators Numene Bartekwa, James Biney, Nyonblee Karnga- Lawrence and Jonathan Sogbie said the lack of good roads network and electricity is hampering the free movement of people in their respective counties.
The Lawmakers also want the issue of volunteer teachers, routine supply of medical drugs and the retirement of civil servants addressed by the Executive.
However, Senator Jonathan Sogbie of River Gee County thanked the Liberian Government for the pavement of the Fish Town road, and other development initiatives in the County.
He called on central government to prioritize the south eastern road corridor, for smooth business transactions in the area.
