MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Montserrado County Senator Abraham Darius Dillon has made his first court appearance at the Civil Law Court in Monrovia.
It followed a one-million United States Dollar law suit filed against him by Liberty Party Chairman, Musa Hassan Bility.
Chairman Bility on Friday, January 31, 2022, sued Senator Dillon for libel after calling him a criminal and fraudster.
According to ELBC Reporter, Senator Dillon, as defendant, was escorted to the court on Monday, January 31, 2022, by his lawyer, Cllr. Augustine Fayiah.
Our Reporter said:” Civil Law Court Judge, Kennedy Peabody, released the Montserrado County Senator after signing a promissory note.”
The promissory note mandates Senator Dillon to appear daily until an appropriate valid bond is secured and filed.
Meanwhile, Senator Dillon has maintained all comments against Chairman Musa Bility, while also promising to comply with the ongoing legal process.
The latest legal battle between Senator Abraham Darius Dillon and Chairman Musa Bility is testament of the glaring split in the Liberty Party, and by extension, the opposition community.
