Foreign Minister Kemayah receives Ambassadors of Japan and Israel

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia’s Foreign Minister Dee-Maxwell Kemayah has received the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary-Delegate of Japan and the State of Israel.

During his separate meetings with the diplomats, Foreign Minister Kemayah reflected on the long-standing relationships between Liberia and their respective countries.

The two ambassadors will officially present their Letters of Credence to President George Weah on Friday, March 18, 2022.

Foreign Minister Kemayah assured both Ambassadors Hisanobu MOCHIZUKI of Japan and Shlomit Sufa of Israel-Liberia’s cooperation and support during their tour of duty.

Ambassador MOCHIZUKI welcomed the opportunity accorded him to serve as his country’s Ambassador to Liberia, and promised to continue to work to strengthen the relations between Liberia and Japan.

For her part, Ambassador Sufa praised the relationship between both Israel and Liberia, which she said is long-standing and excellent.

She stressed that development cooperation remains central in the relations between the State of Israel and Liberia.
