MARYLAND COUNTY, LIBERIA-Maryland County District One Representative says bad road condition is posing serious difficulty to citizens of Southeastern Liberia.
Representative P. Mark Jury said:” Several roads in the region are at the verge of being cut off due to the rainy season.”
He asserted that the main highway is deplorable, and needs to be maintained to allow the citizens move freely.
The Maryland County Lawmaker told ELBC that if nothing is done, rice and other commodities will be short on the market and prices will be on the increase in the Southeast, during the peak of the rainy season.
He noted that the situation has greatly affected the livelihood of citizens in the area and wants Government to intervene.
