PAYNESVILLE CITY, LIBERIA-The Director General of the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS), Estelle Liberty-Kermoh, says the Management’s vision to extend and expand the services of the system is proceeding successfully.
Madam Liberty-Kermoh also said Management has been able to include the voices of all citizens, irrespective of differences in opinions and thoughts.
Speaking during programs marking the dedication of LBS modern radio and television facilities over the weekend, she said the aim is to relate all concerns to the central authorities.
The LBS Boss said:” The System has boosted and improved broadcast capacity nationwide for better rural transmission, through contemporary multimedia technology.”
Madam Liberty-Kermoh said there is still a lot more to do, especially in the area of digital and satellite communication.
However, the LBS Director General said that all can be achieved with continued support from President George Weah and the People’s Republic of China.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Board of LBS praised Madaam Liberty-Kermoh for continuing on the System’s development roadmap.
Information Minister Ledgerhood Rennie said developmentsbeing implemented were already in the pipeline and thanked the LBS Management for staying on course and not reversing history.
Representing President George Weah at the program, Information Minister Rennie conveyed the President’s congratulatory message to the staff and management of LBS for the tremendous progress.
He said President Weah is keenly following developments at LBS, and has committed to supporting the National Broadcaster to the peace and development of the Country.
