YELLEQUELLEH DISTRICT, BONG COUNTY, LIBERIA-Renovation works are ongoing on the Donfah Elementary Public School in Yellequelleh District, Bong County, after years of being in deplorable condition.

The renovation is an initiative of the school administration, after it organized a fund-raising rally over the weekend, to recondition the learning environment and expand the school for more intakes.

ELBC Bong County Correspondent said such initiative has been boosted by a cash donation of thirty-thousand Liberian Dollars by the District Representative and Senatorial Aspirant, Edward Karfiah.

Making the donation, the wife of the Lawmaker, Madam Johnetta Karfiah, highlighted the significance of reconditioning the Donfah School which is strategically located in the District.

In another development, two youths have been elected to the Bong County Council, as part of enhancing youth representation at the annual County Council sitting.

The election was conducted by the Federation of Liberian Youth, under the supervision of the County Coordinator, Abraham Kollie, over the weekend.
