by Fabine W. Kwiah

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Civil Law Court has summoned the Management of the United Bank of Africa (UBA) for the alleged disappearance of over seventy-four thousand US Dollars from Tarnue Bongolee’s account with the Bank.

Judge Kennedy Peabody’s April 25 writ was triggered by petitioner Bongolee’s lawyer, Mark Marvey’s fifteen-count action of damage for writing against the Bank.

Cllr. Marvey said:” My client secured the money in question from the Liberian Government, to finance his graduate education at Harvey University in the United States in 2022”.

Cllr. Marvey also claimed that the money was deposited in his Client’s UBA account on October 25, 2022, and subsequently received an SMS message notification from UBA Liberia on October 29, 2022, regarding the amount.

The Court is demanding UBA Manager and Chief Executive Officer’s appearance on or before May 5, 2023, to answer a complaint filed by petitioner Tarnue Bongolee’s lawyer.
