GRAND CAPE MOUNT COUNTY, LIBERIA-Bea Mountain Corporation has presented a cheque of four-hundred-fifty thousand United States Dollars to the Clans Development Fund in Grand Cape Mount County.
The three clans benefiting from the cash donation are Darblo, Mana, and Laar in Gola Konneh District.
Bea Mountain Mining Corporation General Manager for Country Affairs, Debar Allen, said:” Each clan received one-hundred-fifty thousand US Dollars to undertake projects in their respective areas”.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the three clans, Grand Cape Mount County Superintendent, Aaron Vincent, lauded Bea Mountain for the fund, and promised that his people will use the money to implement meaningful development projects in their communities.
However, the Grand Cape Mount County Superintendent encouraged members of the Project Management Committee from the three clans to submit a comprehensive report to his office, detailing how the first money provided by the Bea Mountain Mining Corporation was expended.
