Learning Condition at Nuquay Public School in Shambles

by Maximilian K. Kasseh jr

TODEE DISTRICT, MONTSERRADO COUNTY, LIBERIA-Students of Nuquay Public School in Todee District are said to be forced out of school due to the deplorable condition of the school.

The Head of the Nuquay Public School Parents-Teachers Association, Alieu Kanneh, said:” Parents have repeatedly refused to send their kids to school due to severe leakage of the building”.

Mr. Kanneh told ELBC Correspondent that besides the leakage, the crumbling walls of the school have also posed a life-threatening situation to the kids.

The Nuquay Public School, according to our Correspondent, also lacks chairs and instructional materials to enhance learning at the school.

Meanwhile, the PTA Leadership of the school is appealing to education authorities, Senator Emmanuel Nuquay, and education-related institutions, to swiftly intervene.
