GRAND BASSA COUNTY, LIBERIA-President George Weah is urging citizens to continue preaching messages of peace and unity.

President Weah said:” Fostering peace through action will enhance rapid development and economic growth.”

He also noted that as a leader, contributing towards the sustenance of the nation’s peace remains paramount.

The Liberian Leader then admonished citizens to be appreciative of the gains made by his government in bettering their lives.

President Weah made the remarks on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at the Saint John Episcopal Church, at an intercessory service organized in his honor by the Christian Community of Gran Bassa County.

Meanwhile, the Senior Pastor of the Triumphant Life Ministries, Amos Bockarie, cautioned President Weah to be a beacon of hope for his citizens.

Apostle Bockarie said:” In doing so, you should continue bridging the generational gap erected by leaders before him.”

He urged the Liberian Leader to follow the good example of Nehemiah who built the Walls of Jerusalem, despite enduring hindrances from the opposition.

The Clergyman, while extolling President George Weah for the level of developments undertaken across the country, urged him to do more for the citizens.
