14 Senators Seek Re-election, Face Citizens’ Examination

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Fourteen members of the Liberian Senate are expected to face citizens’ examination in the ensuing October 10 polls.

It followed the expiration of their nine-year tenure this year having been elected in 2014.

The Senators include Saah Joseph, Francis Paye, Emmanuel Dennis, Morris Saytumah, and Cllr. Varney Sherman.

Others are Senate Pro-Tempt Albert Chie, Gbleh-Bo Browne, Jonathan Kaipay, Stephen Zargo, and Milton Teahjay.

The rest include Henrique Tokpa, Daniel Naatehn, Commanly Wesseh, and Prince Johnson.

Fourteen Senators will seek re-election due to the decline of Margibi County Jim Tornonlah.
