USAID-Liberia Wants Gov. Invest More in Technical and Vocational Education

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-United States Agency for International Development-Liberia (USAID) office wants the Liberian Government to invest more in technical and vocational education.

USAID-Liberia Chief of Party for Youth Advance Activity, Steve Kamanzi, said:” Technical and vocational education is crucial to nation building.”

Mr. Kamanzi told ELBC Super Morning Show on Thursday, August 10, 2023, that investing more in technical and vocational education, will go a long way in mitigating the unemployment rate and addressing future challenges.

He also wants Government to create job opportunities for young people to make them self-reliant.

Meanwhile, USAID-Liberia Head of Mission, James Wright, said:” The entity is exerting frantic efforts to improve the livelihoods of young people.”
