LOFA COUNTY, LIBERIA-Makona River Farm and Agriculture Services Manager has hailed the Government of Liberia for its continued support to local farmers to boost food security.
Mr. Saah Bundoo said:” For too long the country has depended on the importation of its staple food, rice, which is a huge loss to the economy.”

Speaking recently during the harvest in Sorlumba, Lofa County, Mr. Bundoo promised to bring the county to its pre-war status as the “bread basket” of Liberia.
In remarks, the Ministry of Agriculture Chief Agronomist, Theophilus Baai, assured of the Liberian Government’s continued support to farmers to boost agribusiness in Liberia.
