MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Political parties have concluded campaign activities across Liberia in line with electoral guidelines released by the National Elections Commission (NEC).
The main Opposition Unity Party (UP) and the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) Climaxed their campaign rallies on Saturday and Sunday, November 11 and 12, respectively.
On October 24, the NEC declared campaign activities officially opened in preparation for the Presidential Run-Off Election.
The run-off election is consistent with Article 83 (b) of the Liberian Constitution after all candidates in the October 10 Elections failed to obtain fifty-plus one votes to be declared the winner for the Presidency.
Meanwhile, incumbent President George Weah and former Vice President Joseph Boakai are heading for the Presidential Run-Off Election on Tuesday, November 14, 2024, for the second time in six years.
