MONROVIA, LIBERIA- The Vice President of the Liberian Business Association (LBA) has called on the incoming Government of Liberia to craft policies that would prioritize the consumption of Liberian-made and grown products.
Mr. Fumba Trawally said:” Such policies are critical to the revitalization of the Agriculture Sector.”
Mr. Trawally also called on the government to put in place a policy that will require compulsory farming by government officials to boost the sector.
Speaking recently in Paynesville City, the Executive Officer of the National Toiletries Incorporated also wants the incoming Government to enforce the Liberianization Policy.
The Policy gives certain businesses exclusively for Liberians and government purchases through Liberian businesses as a means of empowering them.
