MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah will today dedicate the refurbished Foreign Affairs Ministry building, on January 17.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the Liberian Leader is expected to be joined by an array of Liberian Government Officials from the Executive and members of the 55th National Legislature at the dedicatory ceremony.

A release from the Foreign Ministry said Wednesday’s dedication is consistent with the Government of Liberia’s flagship program, the Pro-Poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development (PAPD), which focused on the expansion and modernization of government-owned buildings in the last six years.

The release added that upon his ascendency to the Presidency, President Weah vowed to create a conducive working environment for all government employees as a top priority for his administration.

It noted that Foreign Minister Dee-Maxwell Kemayah negotiated for the funding that was used for the renovation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the Kingdoms of Saudi Arabia and Morocco.
