MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia’s Chief Justice Sie-A-Nyene Yuoh, has re-echoed the building of a responsible and trustworthy Judiciary System under her stewardship to earn public confidence.
Justice Yuoh pledged her unwavering stance on strict administration of Justice to foster the peace and stability of the country in keeping with the Liberian Constitution and existing laws.
The Chief Justice made the remarks on Thursday, February 1, 2024, when she delivered a special statement at the opening of the 10th Annual Conference of the Association of Trial Judges of Liberia at the Temple of Justice in Monrovia.

The Chief Justice said:” Amid public misconception about the Justice System, judicial actors are under professional and moral obligations to serve in the supreme interest of party litigants without fear or favor.”
Meanwhile, a senior partner at Heritage Partners and Associates, Cllr. Negbalee Warner has challenged judges to dispense justice fairly and decide disputes void of undue delays.
Cllr. Warner wants judicial officials to safeguard the Country’s democratic values in strict adherence to the rule of law.
He said:” Judges are required to discharge their duties in line with the Constitution of Liberia to promote democratic governance.”
Cllr. Negbalee Warner spoke on the theme: Efficient, Predictable, and Fair Disposition of Cases is Indispensable to Safeguard Democratic Values and Promote Confidence in the Judiciary.”
