Pres. Boakai Consoles Namibians on Loss of President Geingob

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has consoled the Government and people of Namibia following the death of President Hage Geingob.

President Boakai described the death of President Geingob as a great loss not only to the people of Namibia but also to the entire African Continent.

The Liberian Leader said:” The late Namibian President was among the legends of the struggle for Namibia’s liberation and independence.”

An Executive Mansion release issued recently also quotes President Boakai’s consolation statement as extending profound condolences to the Acting Namibian President, Nangolo Nbumba, and the people of Namibia for the loss sustained.

According to the release, President Boakai also recounted the shared historic bilateral relations between Liberia and Namibia in furtherance of peace and democracy over the years.

In another development, citizens of Kolahun District in Lofa County have honored President Boakai for his contributions to society.

They described the President as a selfless and charismatic leader whose interventions in society cannot go unnoticed.

The Gbandi citizens said the Liberian Leader’s ascendency to the helm of power is dedicated to his vision of changing lives through the exemplary style of leadership.

Responding, President Boakai renewed the commitment of the Liberian Government to building a functioning society where everyone embraces one another, regardless of regional lineage.

President Joseph Boakai then lauded the Kolahun citizens for their support and commitment demonstrated during the 2023 Elections.
