Liberia Broadcasting System Concludes Three-Day Intensive Correspondents Training

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Management of the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) has concluded a three-day intensive training of the entity’s Correspondents to enhance their reportorial skills.

The training facilitated by seasoned journalists and media professionals included ethical reporting, script writing, fact-checking, and the use of digital tools for research.

LBS Director General Eugene Fahngon praised the Correspondents for their dedication to informing Liberians and residents across the Country.

Mr. Fahngon emphasized the importance of putting into practice what they have learned for quality reportage.

Speaking on behalf of the Correspondents, Papa Morris thanked the LBS Management for the golden opportunity provided to them and assured the Management that the Correspondents are committed to ethically fulfilling their duties.

Earlier, the lead trainer, Deputy Director General for Media Services, Hassan Kiawu, challenged the Correspondents to perform their duties with professionalism and commitment.
