MONROVIA, LIBERIA-More than fifty thousand twelfth Graders across the Country have begun siting this year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE).
The examinations run from May 15 to June 5 this year, focusing on nine core subjects, including Mathematics and English.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC)-Liberia Head, Dale Gbotoe, said:” It is the first time to have such several candidates since the beginning of the WASSCE in 2018.”
Mr. Gbotoe attributed the huge number of registered candidates to the continued payments made by the Liberian Government.
WASSCE is the regional examination administered in Liberia, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and the Gambia.
