MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has expressed sadness over the sudden death of Wen Sailey, a staunch supporter of his administration and the Coalition for Democratic Change.
The Executive Mansion said President Weah is disheartened by Sailey’s death, because he was so passionate about the cause to transform Liberia.
President Weah said:” Wen Sailey did not need the backing of a large group in order to express what he believed, in which was demonstrated when he singularly led a campaign in the streets of Monrovia, to show support for the CDC Government, during a rather turbulent period.”
However, the Liberian Leader said:” Death is a necessary end that everyone has to face someday, regardless of statuses in society.”
President Weah then conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved family, the CDC and those impacted by the passing of Wen Sailey.
