MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian College of Physicians and Surgeons has graduated over twenty medical professionals, with a call to put humanity first.
Serving as key lecturer at the program, Dr. Lawrence Sherman, Dean of the A.M. Dogliotti College of Medicine, said:” It is important to always put the life of the patient first.”
Dr. Sherman said:” Though patients are often unaware of the challenges medical professionals go through while providing care, health professionals must at all times live up to their oath.”
The Dean of the College then cautioned the graduates to be steadfast, and above all be professional in the discharge of their duties.
He, at the same time, lauded the leadership of the College for being so determined and committed in fulfilling the dreams of young Liberians desirous of becoming medical doctors.
The graduates were trained in the fields on Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, General Surgery, and Family Medicine among others.
