BONG COUNTY, LIBERIA-Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor says Liberian women can play a critical role in transforming Liberia’s destiny.
Vice President Taylor wants Liberian women acquire basic skills through training to make them productive.
She said:” Enlightened Liberian women can compete with their male counterparts, and also contribute to nation building.”
Speaking over the weekend in Totota, Bong County, during a trade graduation program, Madam Taylor urged Liberian women not to be complacent with their current living conditions.
Also speaking, Bong County Representative Maima Briggs-Mensah, vowed to work along with women in District Six, Lower Bong County, to help make them productive citizens.
