MONROVIA, LIBERIA (Release)-President George Weah will today Monday, January 27, 2020 deliver his Third State of the Nation Address in the Joint-Chambers of the National Legislature.
The planned address is a Constitutional mandate under Article 58 of the 1986 Constitution.
Article 58 of the Constitution states that “The President on the Fourth working Monday of January of each year shall present the Administration’s Legislative Program for the ensuing session and once a year report to the National Legislature on the state of the Republic, including expenditure as well as income.”
President Weah is expected to present his legislative agenda to members of the 54th Legislature for the Third Session which opened two weeks ago.
