MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Management of the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) is set to launch a National Language Radio Station in Liberia.
LBS Director General, Estelle Liberty-Kemoh said:” The launch of the National Radio Station is intended to broadcast major radio programs in Liberia’s sixteen languages.”
A release issued recently quotes Madam Kemoh as saying the new language radio station will begin test transmission on Monday, December 11, 2023.
Meanwhile, the LBS is expected to begin massive three-day maintenance works on December 9.
In 2022, the Management of the Liberia Broadcasting System launched Metro FM, an entertainment radio station, aimed at promoting entertainment in Liberia.
