MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai is in Ghana on a two-day working visit to that Country.
President Boakai will hold talks with his Ghanaian counterpart, Nana-Akufo-Addo, on matters of mutual interest to both countries and the sub-region as well.
According to an Executive Mansion Release issued recently, the President has named the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Sylvester Grigsby, as Chair of the Cabinet in close consultation with the Vice President and via telephone with the President.
The Liberian Leader left the Country on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, via the Roberts International Airport in Lower Margibi County.
Meanwhile, President Boakai has made additional nominations in Government.
Those nominated are William Mulbah, Deputy Inspector General for Administration, and Atty. Nelson Freeman, Deputy Inspector General for Operations, Liberia National Police (LNP).
Others are Simeon Frank, Deputy Inspector General for Crimes Services, and Sadatu Reeves, Deputy Inspector General for Training and Manpower Development.
An Executive Mansion release also named Cllr. Oswald Tweh, Justice Minister-Designate, Cllr. Cooper Kruah, Labor Minister- Designate, Wilmot Paye, Mines and Energy Minister-Designate and Augustine Karpeh, Deputy Posts and Telecommunications Minister.
Others include Charlene Taylor, Assistant Foreign Minister for Afro-Asian Affairs, and Rudolph Natt, Deputy Transport Minister for Roads and Rails Transport.
The release says the nominations are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate where applicable.
