Monrovia, Liberia – Outgoing United States Ambassador to Liberia Christine Elder has been praised for her role in the promotion of peace and development in Liberia.
In a message to Ambassador Elder, the Executive Director of the Liberia Crusaders for Peace Juli Endee recalled the selfless and exemplary leadership exhibited by Ambassador Elder during her time in Liberia.
Ambassador Endee and Madam Elder enjoyed close and professional relationship during her four year tenure in Liberia and was often referred to by the LCP Executive Director as a ‘sister and friend’.
The message published on her official Facebook page read “It has been no less an opportunity for me to have met and worked with someone like you during my career as an Executive Director of Liberia Crusaders for Peace, Cultural Ambassador and Traditional Queen of Liberia”.
During her stay in Liberia, the former US Ambassador was very supportive of the work of the Liberia Crusaders for Peace through USAID, Mercy Corps and other partners associated with the American People.
Pleased with what Ambassador Christine Elder has done for Liberia during her tenure, the Liberian Culture Ambassador said of the US Envoy, “you exemplified true leadership as you put service above self, and that serves as an example for others”.
