MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia is expected to host two major sporting events in September and October this year, to be organized by Africa Sports Venture Group.
The Organization’s Country Director, Sabato Neufville, told ELBC Tuesday, May 25, 2020, that the events were earlier scheduled for June but moved to the new dates due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
According to Mr. Neufville, the College League scheduled for September this year will bring together athletes from colleges across Africa to compete for top prizes in different sporting disciplines.
He said:” The Ninja Warrior League, first of its kind on the Continent, will also be held in Liberia in October this year.
Meanwhile, the Africa Sports Venture Group Country Director has lauded President George Weah for accepting to serve as keynote speaker at the group’s Africa Day on line sports conference held on Monday, May 25, 2020.
