MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Liberia has recorded over 50 per cent of recoveries of the total infection figure of 10179 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
According to the latest update from the National Public Health Institute (PHIL), six-hundred-sixty-four recoveries have been recorded, after eighteen new recoveries were reported in the last 24-hour.
Montserrado, Lofa and River Gee Counties reported five new recoveries each, while Bong County reported two and Nimba County one.
According to NPHIL, two new confirmed Coronavirus cases have been recorded in Maryland County, bringing Liberia’s total infections of COVID-19 to one-thousand-one-hundred-seventy-nine. The death toll from the virus stands at seventy-two, with no new death reported.
Meanwhile, health workers are following up on thirty-nine new contacts.
