GRAND GEDEH COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Grand Gedeh County Health Team (CHT) says it stands ready to combat the emergence of any disease in the county, amid the outbreak of Ebola in neighboring Guinea.
ELBC Correspondent quotes the County Health Officer, Augustine Fanian, as saying several measures have been put in place to tighten health surveillance along the borders.
Dr. Fanian said:” As part of the measures, anyone coming across the borders will be tested before entering the county.”
According to him, the CHT has embarked on an awareness campaign to sensitize the people about the various preventive measures.
He is, however, calling on citizens of the area to adhere to all health protocols put in place by the Ministry of Health.
