SINOE COUNTY, LIBERIA-More than twenty seven senior students at the Barclayville Central High School in Grand Kru County have been disqualified from sitting the pending West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (WASSCE).
The Principal of the School Melvin Young said the students were disqualified due to poor academic performance.
Mr. Young said:” The performance of the students has been dismal, rendering them unfit to sit the exams, despite parents being informed earlier about the poor performance of their children, no improvement was seen in their academic work.”
Meanwhile, the students have been issued letter of academic leave, which will see them repeating in the next academic year.
