Pres. Weah to address Paris Peace Forum…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah is expected to address the Fourth Edition of the Paris Peace Forum and the 75th Anniversary of UNESCO in Paris, France, beginning today, Thursday.

The 2021 Paris Peace Forum is gathering the most important actors in global governance, as well as Chief Executive Officers of multinational and civil society organizations.

According to an Executive Mansion release issued on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, President Weah is expected to call on participants and delegates, including state and non-state actors, to engage in more cooperation for collective action.

The release said the Liberian Leader will further advance concrete suggestions to combat the enormous challenges brought about by COVID-19, and to improve global governance in times of the pandemic.

Following his address at the Paris Peace Forum, the Liberian Chief Executive will then address the 41st Session of UNESCO General Conference High-Level Segment at celebrations marking the Organization’s 75th anniversary.

Meanwhile, President Weah is expected to hold bilateral and multilateral discussions with world leaders for possible investment in Liberia.
