MONROVIA, LIBERIA (Varflay Kamara Reports) – The Government of Liberia is commending CEMENCO for the construction of a new State of the Art Cement Production Facility worth over Fourteen Million United States Dollars.
Speaking at the opening of the facility on Thursday, President George Weah said the construction of the facilities is an expressed confidence in the Liberian Economy.
President Weah said the economy is poised for growth this year because investors have agreed to invest in Liberia.
In remarks, CEMENCO Managing Director, William Gaignard, said the cement production will not increase to thirty percent.
Mr. Gaignard said CEMENCO will now supply affordable and quality cement, create jobs, promote entrepreneurship and contribute to economic growth than ever before.
