MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Criminal Court ‘A’ Judge Roosevelt Willie, on Monday, June 22, 2020, found four of the five suspects guilty in the Emmet Hoff murder and conspiracy case.
He released one of the suspects, Emmanuel Gbah, due to insufficient proof.
The three men found guilty are: John Tarpeh alias Mr. Ibu, Solomon Gibson, Emmanuel Bolaykay Gibson and Emmet Hoff, all of Johnsonville, Montserrado County.
Judge Willie, in his ruling, said witnesses that took the stand, including rebuttal witnesses, did not link him to the act, and set him free but Government lawyers took an exception with defense lawyers taking an appeal to the Supreme Court.
