Inter-Agency Payroll Clean-up Task Force begins Gov. Payroll clean-up exercise

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Chairman of the Liberian Government Inter-Agency Payroll Clean-up Taskforce, Del-Francis Wreh said the Taskforce has begun the cleaning up of Government Payroll.

According to Mr.Wreh, the process is intended to get rid of unnecessary employees, and bring about equity to the payroll system of Government.

He said:” The process is being accelerated through the cooperation of the National Identification Registry, the Internal Audit Agency and Civil Servant Agency.”

Mr.Wreh disclosed that the Taskforce, over the past years, consolidated, alternated and centralized the payroll system of Government.

He spoke over the weekend at the end of a one day gathering on the use of Biometric Identification Card for payment Management in Liberia, at the Ministerial Complex in Congo Town outside Monrovia.
