Pres. urges Grand Gedeh County to exercise political tolerance

by Francis Pelenah Jr,

GRAND GEDEH BOUNTY, LIBERIA-President George Weah is urging the people of Grand Gedeh County to exercise political tolerance, for the opposition.

President Weah said:” It does not augur well for the image of the Country, when Grand Gedeans ask opposition politicians to leave their County.”

The Liberian Leader said he has always known the people of Grand Gedeh County to be peaceful and, as such, they should not allow politics to derail their peaceful nature.

President Weah added that although Grand Gedeh is predominantly for the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), citizens should allow other political parties to carry out campaign activities in the County.

The President was speaking Saturday, February 20, 2021, at a town hall meeting with the people of Grand Gedeh County
