Prez. Weah vows to address infrastructure deficits inherited by his administration

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – President George Weah has vowed to continue addressing the infrastructure deficits inherited by his government.

The Liberian leader said he will not rest until there is a reasonable level of public infrastructure including parks, roads and bridges that will bring relief to the people.

President Weah was speaking Thursday, August 5, 2021, when he broke grounds for the construction of the PHP Unity Youth Park, sponsored by the government of the United Arab Emirates.

He said, as well as other projects, the PHP Youth Park is a manifestation of government’s determination to push for national development in spite of limited resources.

Meanwhile President Weah has lauded UAE government through Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayeed for taken interest in Liberia’s infrastructure development.

The Liberian Leader said government will continue to use its strong relationship with the UAE government to push for every development opportunity in Liberia.
